Or just ignoring the truth and hope it all goes away?

Your mistake in asking this question is assuming that simple distortion is responsible for those condemning Israel. What you need to understand is that those people want to be the ones cutting off heads with a rusty knife.

The reason they are anti-Israel is simply that they are pro-genocide. The worst part is not that they support genocide in Israel. The worst part is that they are traitors. They support genocide here.

Remember Ward Churchill? When he gave speeches saying that americans should be the ones flying the planes into the World Trade Center, he got standing ovations. We are being way too tolerant of this line of thinking. Churchill should have been arrested and executed for treason. Because he wasn't, we have a large number of people in our midst who want to put you and your family into ovens.

Eventually, we are going to have to deal with that situation....and deal with it quite harshly.
