You had sex, you could be preggo, period. However, at 'about a month ago', the size is so insignificant that it would not make your belly bigger already. At 4 weeks gestation, a baby is only the size of a grain of rice.

You certainly didn't ask my advice, but I'm going to give it. My intention is not to make you feel bad, but to give you hope for what sex/pregnancy CAN be like when you wait for marriage with the right person, and maybe to make you think about your choices. Why not wait until you're married? Then if you're asking yourself this question (Am I pregnant?) you'll know there's someone who loves you who's going to be right there with you asking it and awaiting the answer. And no, I'm not some old fart with dated ideas. I'm 24 years old, and I can't imagine having sex at 15, you can't even drive yet! Please rethink and be careful.

First of all did you use birth control of any kind? Second, have you missed a period yet?

If you're that worried get a home pregnancy test. You can find them in most stores for a very reasonable price. I doubt you'd be showing that quick. Most women don't "show" their pregnancies until 3 or 4 months, though it does vary.

And a final bit of advice, use a condom and another method of birth control such as the pill or contraceptive foam just to make sure this never happens again. If you're going to have sex at least be safe.

No...your stomach doesn't start getting big until you are 4-5 months pregnant. You are most likely experiencing bloating. I am guessing that you will be getting your period soon. Nerves can cause you to be late. If you are really concerned take a hpt. Since you have decided to start having sex you need to be responsible enough to be having safe sex...let this be a lesson learned.

It is unlikely that you would be showing this early if you were pregnant, although it could be. I definitely don't think it could be nerves, but it could be many things: bloating, distention from gas, just putting on some weight, etc.

I surely don't want to make you feel bad. I just hope for your sake that if you are sexually active, you will take precautions against STDs and pregnancy. Believe me, having a baby at picnic is NO picnic. Guys RUN from pregnant girls, especially teen-age boys. Please put your best interest first. And ask yourself one question: What did I gain from having sex?
Good luck to you.

a bigger stomach is not one of the first symptoms if you think you may be pregnant. if you miss a period, and your breasts get tender and sore, that comes first, then nausea in the morning. after all that, your stomach starts to show. get a drug store test, they work after only 1 month and you won't have to worry about this. no lectures! you know what is right from wrong.

No, it wouldn't be noticably bigger after a month. Besides, if you were pregnant you probably would have missed your period and had some kind of morning sickness by now.

It could be nothing, but then again, it could be something. You should consider buying a home pregnancy test and finding out for sure. They're pretty cheap and that way you'll know for sure. I know it's scary, but it would be best if you know one or another ASAP. I hope this helps. Good luck. : )

I think were asking the same QandA but you may have a bun in the oven. What is your normal weight before the stomach thing?
