It was from "Song Of The South" (1946), sung by animated characters and a black farmhand named Uncle Remus, played by James Braskett. It was the first full-length feature film Disney Co. produced with both live action and animated characters. It was popular at the time, and was later incorporated into the "Splash Mountain" attraction at Disneyland. However, the film is long out-of-print, and not available legally for sale in the U.S., due to a great deal of its content being....well, racist. Not on par with "Birth Of A Nation", but it certainly differs greatly from sensitivity restrictions in modern film.

Song Of The South, which Disney would like to forget about. It's sung by Uncle Remus. You can find the video of it on old Sing Along Songs VHS tapes "Zip-A-Dee-Do-Dah". I have one actually. I personally love the song itself. Near & dear to my heart.

You've already got the name of the movie, "Song of the South." The movie was animated, but for one character, a black man, who was named Uncle Remus. He sang the song.
