Well, no, not really. But then again, I'm sure you've been submitted to everyone's opinion of "emo." The typical definition of emo is someone who wears black all the time, listens to The Spill Canvas or any other band labeled "emo", and cries or acts in a very depressed or sad fashion. Just because you listen to emo music or write emo lyrics doesn't necessarily make you emo. Actually, being able to use your emotions in your songwriting is a very useful skill. My friend was not "emo" in any sense of the word, yet he referred to himself as "emo" becasue of his feelings and how he expressed himself in his music. "Emo" is nothing more than a label by society. Other than being kinda cute (I couldn't help it), no, you do not strike me as emo.

You're prolly not emo. If you have to ask, then you prolly never will be either. Emo is a lifestyle-how you feel, not what you wear, how you look, what you listen to, or who you hang with. Please, just do us all a favor and look inside and decide what you want to be and don't let other people tell you what you are!
