There is no real answer to this question but what I have learned of what love is to me and that is the word LOVE itself holds the answer.......
(L)isten: and validate them by hearing and empathizing.
(O)verlook: their minor character flaws as they will overlook yours.
(V)alue: who they are and what they mean to you.
(E)xpress: how you love them not just with words but with actions.

You can find many people attractive but you can only be attracted to one. You can love many people, but you can only be in love with one. Why is that so? Because there’s only room for person in your heart at any one time. If there are two, it means one is the real one and the other is not. Or else for one to come, the other must go. It’s THE special place of your heart. Heart of hearts or heart within hearts. Secret heart.
They say never love a love that hurts. And never hurt a love that loves. But you will always hurt a love that loves somehow in some way, but it will continue loving because it is a love that loves. And when you truly love a person a lot, it can hurt because you do not just desire for the person but you desire the person as well.

you can tell when you KNOW that you want to spend the rest of your life with him/her and you would do ANYTHING in the world for him/her. You never want to be apart that person and hope with all your heart that they are feeling the same way. If you need another referance, just look at your family. You love them and want them to succeed and are proud of them. It is sortat the same with someone outside your family.

Well in my experience really loving somebody with all your heart is like you NEED them and you feel like you don't know what you'll do without them. You've never felt like that about anyone before and feel like you could never love anyone else. You see yourself with him no matter what happens, no matter how sick he gets or old he gets, you feel like you'll still love him 20 years from now. That's true love.

I would say that when you love somebody you can imagine yourself marring the person, having babies, growing old together... You can't imagine life without the person by your side.
When you really like a person but don't love them, you don't think about marriage or babies and old age, you just think about sex!

if u just like someone it is like a sensation of relief,if you really love someone you can feel it deep within your core,you think about them all the time, and when the wind blows,or u see a beautiful sunset, you feel as thou they are right there with you, keep in mind that there is a difference in loving someone and being in love with someone, truly, in a beautiful way,to me the feeling of being in love is none other than a spiritual awakening......good luck in love

But being in love with someone is wanting them with you always, putting them always before yourself, sacrificing anything for them, if need be, being committed, faithful, honest, respect them and their ideas, thoughts, wishes,dreams, but most of all, become one in two, together forever........
