why are women soo dumb when it comes to men!?!?

ok my best friend is with this guy who treats her bad, is a jerk, has his priorities fu cked up, oh and he has hit her before. They do have a baby together. I keep telling her to leave but she won't. Aperently she liked being his door mat.. my question .. WHY ON EARTH DO WOMEN PUT UP WITH STUIP S H I T FROM GUYS?? WHY ARE THEY SOO AFRAID TO LEAVE THEM???

Just to let every one know, i am happly married with kids. So i do know what kind of bond you have with someone u've had kids with.

Abused women are slowly conditioned to feel like they can't leave the man. It doesn't happen overnight. Why are women dumb? Because they don't notice that the guy is a f-ing bastard until they are ready. He starts out being nice and she thinks she's found Mr. Wonderful. After a while he insults, and she thinks he's right. "I didn't make his dinner right" and "I'm bad in bed" and "I didn't clean the house like I should have" and everything else. She's thinks he's great and doesn't want to loose him, so she tries to please him no matter what. Then he starts with the physical, and for the same reasons she puts up with it. He trains her to believe that she is worthless and won't get anywhere without him, he's the only guy that will put up with her stupid fat a$$ so she thinks "he's right" and doesn't try to stop him. Give her time, she'll wake up and smell the coffee when she's ready. You can't force the decision on her, she'll just resist and defend him that much harder.
As hard as it is to watch, unless you see him hit her or have doctor records, there's not much you can do. His father was probably abusive, so he grew up thinking that's the way to treat a woman. I hope for her baby's sake, she sees it soon before he decides to hit the baby for crying too much or something equally horrible.

I'm sorry this is happening to your friend. However men are taught at a very young age to be ahead of the household, agressive, and take advantage over the situation. It's not right or OK to hit women (or anyone) and especially to the people you say "I love you 2" u don't hurt the people you love. And Women are not dumb when it comes to men, in my opinion women are a'lot smarter and careful when it comes to choosing a perfect mate. She doesn't want to leave him prolly because she has a baby with him and wants the best interest for the child (father figure). And afraid he might walk out on her if she doesn't want to be with him. Maybe she likes this (u never no), or she is affraid she wont find anyone else, better, become lonely, or think all men are like this so i better stick with this one.

--And for you, u never no what shes thinking or feeling. Never lay this on her or make her feel worse (if she already is). Don't leave her as a friend or give up on her make sure your ready to listen (don't talk or speak ur mind) because she already knows your just going to say "leave him" and she wont come back for support. Be all ears and keep her going for another day. If she keeps this relationship going this can lead to depression, anxiety, even become suicidle. Let her make her own choices (will make her stronger and she can learn from this) and when shes ready she will no what to do.

For the same reasons some men put up with crap from the women in their lives. It varies from person to person.

Some just genuinely love the jerk and are willing to put up with almost anything rather than lose them.

Others are insecure and lack self-confidence. They worry that they won't find anyone else to replace the jerk.

Others are financially dependent upon the jerk, and can't leave without ending up homeless.

Others don't want to break up their family - when children are involved.

Still others have religious reasons - for instance, they may not believe in divorce.

There are probably as many reasons as there are people in that situation.

some women are just in love with the wrong men and don't leave them because they don't want to suffer heartache even though they're suffering abuse while with them. Some women are just weak( I mean mentally) and some are afraid that if they leave the guy will find them and hurt them worse. I know a guy who was being abused by his ex- wife, not physically, emotionally and she is very controlling and is a slut. He finally wised up and managed to leave her after 9 years of being "happy" as he put it. However, now he wants her back. There is a wonderful woman who is in love with him and has a child with him, however, he prefers the controlling slut, go figure..........

Have a child with someone is a very strong bond that you might not understand. But if he is really doing all that stuff then i doubt she needs to be in that relationship. But if he is trying to change for her I think you should leave it alone because everyone deserves a second chance because someone gave you one at somepoint in life. Plus love is something powerful.

Honestly because no one will probably let her make her own decision. You won't be her and you can't be her. Of course she won't tell you what she has done in the relationship, and you can't know everything. Therefore she obviously has her reasons for staying with him. Believe me if she REALLY wanted to leave she can be gone.

i feel sorry for your friend, couldnt be anything worse than a mate that keeps badgering the crap out of you to leave your man, constantly putting him down, annoying you with her opinion, showing no respect for your decisions......best thing you can do for this girl is leave her alone, shes a mum and she can make her decisions....

I feel like if they dont leave then they like the abuse and cant live life without it. It completes them. I lived like that for 5 years of my marriage and eventually woke up and realized i was better then he was treating me. hence forth i left his dumbas.s. maybe she feels she has no place to go and that no one cares except him...bad attention is better then no attention sometimes.

yeah but don't generalize. i feel the same anger when i see a dumb woman afraid a man will leave her and when she tolerates any kind of abuse; emotional or physical.
