I've been friends with this girl since we were little, and we became best friends in high school... we just graduated btw... and she's been going out with this guyfor 2 or 3 years and they've been on and off the whole time... and usually one to three times a month they get into a fight and she complains to me that he's a jerk and yadda yadda yadda... and I really like her but now she's back with him, and she told me a few days ago that she likes me, but he's there... what should i do?

You cant do anything until she breaks it off with the other guy.If she really likes you, she will break it off.

You sound like good enough friends that you can tell it like you see it. Tell her gently that you think he's a jerk and the he doesn't deserve her. Explain that it worries you to see her get hurt over and over and that you know she deserves so much better. Make it a positive conversation, and don't lecture her or anything. One more thing, if she doesn't listen, still be there for her and support her through whatever he throws her way, and try hard not to say "I told you so" when rock bottom hits. Good luck!
O wait, I just reread your details and before I wasn't realizing that your a guy...that does complicate things. Let's see...pretty much the same stuff, but try really hard to not sound jealous...just tell her to protect her, not to grab her for yourself. Make this clear, and wait to see what happens.

Let her know how you feel about her and then see what happens. Its better than sitting back and doing nothing and then wondering later what might have been. Beyond that I'm not sure theres much else you can do. The desicion about who shes going to be with is up to her. Hopefully she'll make the right one.

Wait for the moment when they are having problems again and make your move. Be confident. Also if the guy is bigger than you be careful, he will beat you up for taking his girl.

be there for her when they split again cuz you don't wanna get involved with her while she with him. Otherwise if she really likes you maybe she'll leave him for you.

How does this guy treat her? If you feel she deserves better tell her! If you feel you shouldn't tell her then don't. Let her know that there are better guys out there for her(like you!) and she's too good for him. I dunno lol.

you need to tell her how you filling and if she likes you, she will need to break it off with him before you can be together.if she don't than justed stay friends !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
