why do people do it so much it seemsso stuip. like in my school cheerleaders aren't 'popular' it is the rich and mean.

it's just a part of life I guess, it's gets better after highschool, I think the sterotypes don't pertain as much & dwindle a bit, although some people will still use them

It's stupid but it's ingrained into us through evolution. It's easier to recognize what a vicious animal is from the characteristics rather than judging each one on a case by case basis. The first tiger you came across would eat you.
You're right though. It is stupid.
And the other poster was right, after High School it doesn't matter so much. The jocks and the sorority girls might hang out together based off of that, but people really appreciate diversity much more in college and beyond.

I wish you typed more clearly, cause it's confusing me very much so.
Stereotyping exists because society has allowed it to exist. With every peer that is involved in the popular stereotying joke command, more will follow and more will come out of that.
And eventually, like now, it will never be quashed completely.

I hate when people I know make stereotypical statements.
Thats the worst thing you can do to judge someone.
Making a predetermined statement before meeting them
makes no sense.

pple stereotype cuz they are stupid and either have pity parties for them selves or they see themselves higher up then everyone else and ****. but yeah rich pple will always do it they got everything xcept their parents so actually the lower class pple have better pple skills then anything!! <3

its just the way people think. some people still live with their heads stuck in the olden days. and they raise their kids to think that way. so their kids grow up thinking the way they do. its a viscious cycle. its sad too.
