Since you have put this question under Society & Culture, certainly you're not intended to have the answer with scientific definition. "Coolness" in reality is a God-given virtue. And very few among us possess this and even under stressfull situation these individuals never loose their composure and they read the situation in cool manner and try to get the solution to their might. There is another aspect to such nature....for example : If a person reads in the morning about relentless bombing of military forces on enemy's civilian socity, killing thousands of innocent fellows.......and even after reading such news item, he feels nothing...this is also a kind of "coolness" which becomes a bad virtue. Hope you got it.

.The definition of coolness in a person is when one remains calm under pressure and thinks before they react.

Coolness is when a person dresses very well--I'm not just talking about clothes per se, I mean that they are comfortable in their own skin. They will admit when they are wrong and take kindly to criticism.

They seem to know what to say to break the ice. They seem to know the best places to frequent and others seem to gravitate their way. Cool people exude "style" in every sense of the word.
