Get your anniversary date! I did :) 1/12/88 is mine :) Congratulations! And, keep coming back :) (KCB) Or use an acronym of the slogans. ODAAT or LALL with a butterfly since you're free now :)

Hmmm, well there are lots of things you could use. A bird or butterfly in flight or something maybe more powerful to symbolize your determination to recover. There are lots of success symbols like rainbows, eagles, etc. Whatever finds your lost remote, you know? A horse represents courage and perserverence, and a Mustang also represents freedom as well. The bear represents healing and strength; a beaver represents a new beginning; the frog means cleansing, inner peace, and healing (spiritual as well as physical); a rabbit means conquering fear; a ram is achievment; a snail is perserverence and steadfast determination; a lizard symbolizes letting go. In Native American folklore, the Chickadee is very powerful, good medicine.

Not into animals? How about a beautiful tree with a thick trunk? The sunshine? Or SOBER spelled out in Japanese letters or something. Pretty much anything that feels powerful and good to you will work nicely.

And the pain is not that bad. I have a tattoo on my big toe (a spider). My husband has several. Congrats on your achievement!

You should wait until you are completely clean before celebrating your 11 weeks of sobriety. You may have stopped taking oxy 3 and 1/2 years ago, but you haven't been sober (methadone is a drug).

Good luck (I mean it) on staying sober.

Tattoo: A chain around your arm with a broken link representing your break from addiction.

Heshoots obviously has no idea what recovery or addiction is truly all about, and may God bless him to be blissfully ignorant so he may never experience what you have gone through. In 3 and a half years you must have had some sort of thought or symbol that got you through your rough spots. It should signify that. It should also signify strength and love for yourself, because you have showed an abundance of that to get this far. Congrats. I wish you many, many years of sobriety....

3 1/2 years sober but you are still in rehab? What kind of math are you using.

How about a big ? as a tattoo.

Congratulations honey! Stay strong! As far as a tat- how about a flower, with one petal for each year of sobriety? And Each year you can get another petal to celebrate.

Don't get one, it may be so painful, you may relapse.

Congrats on recovery though. Sincerely.
