I am moving from san bernardino california to vancouver washingto in 4 weeks and I need a moving company..they all want to charge me $4000.00 for a small 2bedroom apt...I am getting rid of most of my furniture so we really only have boxes and 2 beds and 3 box shelves and 5 t.v.s and table and 5 charis the rest is just boxes so anyone know any place that wont rip me off please? thanks all

You might want to check out U-Pack (www.upack.com). You pack and load your stuff, and they will drive it to WA. Pretty reasonable prices and reputable company...

You don't really have that much to move. Rent a moving truck for a one-way trip (U-Haul, etc.). If you have a car it can be hooked to a hitch on the back of the truck. It will save you lots of money and you will know that you and your belongings will all arrive together and intact. I've heard awful stories about moving companies not showing up as scheduled and wanting more money before they will unload your stuff. Get some friends and load it up yourself and move. We moved from Indiana to Texas with 3 young kids and a full house of furniture and toys. It can be done.
