As long as I didn't have to stay in that year and could just visit...
I'd go back to 1964...I was 7yrs old. My brother and I spent the summer with my grandparents(now since deceased) in Ohio. It was a time of innocence and joy. When little girls danced to a new group called "The Beatles" and held hands. When we played with hoola hoops, hopscotch, skateboards and waited hear the bells of the ice cream truck each day. Before the angst of teenage years and adulthood. The pure joy of just being a kid.

If you are talking about a year to go back to in movies, I would choose 1939--that was THE best year in movie history--I wish I could have been around for all of the premiers and stars !

this year becuase there's no point in dwelling on the past. there are things i've loved and lost every year, but the most important one to me is this year, right now.
if anything i'd go back to being a child, so i could live it all over again and not change a thing.
