I knew this girl who said she loved this other girl to an extent that was kinda bizarre she passed it off as being in love but it sounded to me that she had some sort of sick dependency on this girl that was not right for her she said she had had bad relationships with guys in the past and her parents werent loving to her it got a little more complex but is there a term for this kind of thing and dont be sarcastic or be a smarty pants just answer my question please

maybe 'this girl' maybe the type of person who needs to be around people to make her feel secure, which is OK, but once it becomes and obsessive behavior maybe 'this girl' should separate her self from her friend for a week to see if her dependency on the other girl is so strong that she needs to seek professional help...and there is NOTHING wrong with seeking professional help.

sounds to me like she is a lesbian who is making tons of excuse because she is living in denial about being a lesbain, with an obsession for one chick....
