Try a detergant for babies, very mild no added perfumes and suppose to be hypo-allergenic Like Ivory Snow or Dreft. Alot more expensive but sure beats the itch.

Baby washing powder is the best thing to use. Because it's delicate on the skin, and they come in non scented and no perfume or dye formulas. Try Euricin products ( hope I spelled it right) they are really good for excema.

I have been through it all when it comes to Eczema (btw- correct spelling), so here are a couple of ideas:

laundry soap- All Free, it beats Dreft, ect.
more important than detergent though is the dryer sheets -- DONT USE THEM! all those little fibers in a bounce sheet a microscopic pieces of fiberglass and they are in the weave of your clothes, making them smell good--and irritating the heck out of your skin.
To stop the itch, is a new lotion called Sarna sensitive anti-itch lotion and you can get it at CVS pharmacy.
Stay out of the pool because chlorine is horrible for eczema.
Drinks lots of water, and then drink alot more sounds too simple but this one is really important.
Stress is the biggest trigger to this miserable affliction and it is probably the hardest to control because having eczema makes you stressed...lol.

btw- everything that touches your skin, body soap, shampoo, perfume, make-up, etc. all have irritants that could trigger the problem. so dont change everything at once. process of elimination is the only way to be sure, so only one at a time, and give at least 24 hours in between.
hope this helps, and good luck

Dreft is the best to use. This is really made for newborns however, it is excellent to use for those who have skin problems. I would recommend trying it for a few weeks.
