I like it a lot!! Though personally i would never get up the nerve to dress the way some of those girls do, Ganguro girls are cute, and it's flattering how they want to look like us Californians.

I love everything about Japan! Including the fashion. But i don't really like the ganguro style.

Totally in love with it!! I actually don't like American fashion. The stuff some of you guys are wearing now, like the leggings underneath stuff, we were wearing them 4 or 5 years ago.
And to the chick below me, don't flatter yourself too much, only a select handful want to be exactly like Cali girls. Sure there is hair dying and tans involved, but to a certain extent, or they take it up another notch and create thier own styles out of it. It may have started from western influence but it is more of a self exprssion thing, just like lolita, and lolita goth(ic). The only ones who go overboard are the ones who have lived in the states as babies and possibly forgotten thier roots, but no offense, I just moved from Cali. and really miss it there.
