How sad....You all just need to hang together as much as possible..Always remember the good times with your friend.
Your friend would not want you guys to be upset forever, but it is natural to feel the loss for awhile.........Remind each other the things your friend did or said that was silly, or funny, or ?
Maybe you all can get some green together and buy a small tree and give to friends parents so they can plant in yard....Then you can all go there sometime to say hello to parents and see the tree! Sorry for your loss....

You should talk about your friend together... it helps. I lost one of my favourite cousins a few years ago, and talking about him made us all feel better.
Have a memorial for him/her. Make a slide show with pictures that you all took of each other including him/her. Remeber the good times, and you can't help but smile. Do something nice for his/her family. (Take them out to dinner, help with funeral arrangements if you can, etc.)
Let your religious beliefs comfort you; if you believe in Heaven, then you should rest easy knowing that your friend is in a good place or watching over you. If you believe in reincarnation, then you should pray that he/she gets a good deal in the next life. If you are an atheist, then you should be grateful for the time you had together and be honored that you knew him/her.
Mourn... completely. Grieving can take from several months to a lifetime, but do it completely and in a healthy manner. If you feel like crying, then cry damn it!! If you feel the need to visit your friend's grave and speak to him/her, do it. When my cousin died, I would write letters to him until I felt better. Odd yes, but fulfilling.
Life goes on, but you need to make sure that youre ready to continue living.
Good luck with that mate.
