Why are there so many very sexy black female singers but so few white ones?

Most black female singers are very sexy and have amazing bodies, but they tend not to market sexiness with white females ecxept maybe Brittany Spears (who now looks terrible). why is that?

It depends entirely on your definition of sexy. I resent having to
watch women portrayed as sleezy burlesque acts. It's cheap
to use body parts and sex acts to get attention. A real talent
doesn't need that and doesn't need to brag & swear.

So, if your idea of sexiness is 'Lil Kim, strippers and whores-
you may have a point. Beyonce is one of the most beautiful
talented singers out there- until she starts grinding and singin'
sleazy. Give me a break. As a woman, she sold out! Jessica Simpson used to be someone sweet & sexy. - Now, she's totally
sleeze bag. Nick is sooooooo much sexier than she is.

!/2 of the artists out there couldn't carry a tune or sing a
Sinatra song. They don't have the voice. So they don jewelry, cigars, strippers, fancy clothes because they are so obviously
lacking in true talent and they know it. The other 1/2 doesn't
need anything other than a mic & guitar or drums. They
are true artists. White or black- who cares. Sleezy or classy
is what I'm talkin' about.

So... I disagree a lot of white female singers are sexy and have
smokin' bods. They just don't need the "in your face" gimmic.
For every Lil Kim there's a Natalie Cole. And for every Brittany
Spears there's a Faith Hill.

Well first of all I have been reading all your answers and can tell that black women are your preference. But for you to say they are sexier and have nicer bodies than white women is just stupid and untrue. There are many white women singers/actresses and regular women who are beautiful and have nice bodies. Why would you also refer to Britney. She just had a baby last September and now is very pregnant again. She looks great.

What a generalized question!

First of all, there are MANY white & hispanic singers who have marketed the heck out of their sexiness... Jessica Simpson, Shania Twain, Christian Aguillera, J. Lo, Hillary Duff, Avril Lavigne, Pussycat Dolls, and many more.

Secondly, popular black music makes no pretense that it seeks to appeal to the lowest common denominators in our culture, of which sex is probably the lowest.

Appeal to more people - make more $$. Simple equation, and it's not limited to black music or musicians.

because white women are so obsessed with being skinnier than the next girl that they all begin to look like skeletons. And the latina or black girls really dont give a damn and keep there bodies healthy, and dont over due the makeup, either.
