First off it was carried out by Osama Bin Laden's terrorist network. The fact they were Muslim is secondary and not really important since some American terrorist who were not Muslim bombed the Oklahoma City Federal Building. You guys haven't forgot about that have you? Also It could be anyone from any walk of life that becomes a terrorist leader like Bin Laden, not just a Muslim. And as far as it goes we can blame ourselves for letting our government stick its nose in where it doesn't belong for decades and decades. I am a Christian and a U.S. Army veteran so if I can see human beings as human beings and not a race or group, but as individuals then why can't you? Veterans didn't serve so you could hate what you don't understand and are to afraid to face. We did so you could live free. Your freedom and rights guaranteed by the Constitution and Bill of Rights end when they take away another's rights. If they didn't then only the strong would have freedom in America. It's also easy to run your mouth when you hide behind the electric medium you use to spread your big, bad WORDS.

The events of 9/11 were undertaken by individuals who had joined, trained with and ultimately died for the ideology of an organization. The fact that they themselves believed this was a Muslim act is not important. Islam, like all organized religions, condemns the taking of human life and you seem to be deaf and blind to that.
Just about anyone can commit a terrorist act with the right ingredients and a will to do it. Don't forget, the US has produced its own terrorists over the years but their religion of these warped individuals rarely gets a mention for fear of tarring others with the same brush.

The sad fact is that it could have been someone else who did this. Timothy McVey did a nasty bit of work because of hate and there may be others. Doing is probably the easy part once the idea is dreamed up. How about blowing a dam and wipeing out a city. The world is so scary when you think about it too much.

Why is it that most people (especially most Americans) fail to see who were responsible for the tragedy? A lot of people are misinformed. Really. For starters, terrorist extremists were responsible. It is totally ILLOGICAL and STUPID. It's like saying this: if the 911 terrorist extremists were all muslim; therefore, all muslims are all terrorist extremists.

So to answer your question, the 911 attack can only be done by one type of faction ONLY. And they're called terrorist extremists .. whatever religion, race, creed, eye color, galactic faction or something.

This is off the topic (a little) but I just recently watched War of the Worlds. When the attacks starting happening, people kept asking, "Who's doing this? Is it the Terrorists?" I thought that was interesting.

But if it was done by someone else, it might have been by China or some other Communist nation, because they might regard the U.S.A. as a threat (which we are, indeed).

This is a good time to be examining the collapse of the towers, because we are finally starting to get some cold hard evidence, that show us, how those buildings came down. Here is some of the most recent irrefutable evidence available today.

1. We now have eye witness accounts, from people inside of the building, telling of explosions taking place, on different floors, including lower floors, just before the buildings went down. Many of the witnesses, were silenced when the buildings collapsed, but their accounts live on, in just released radio recordings. (I'll try to find them on the Internet for you. I heard the firemens radio conversations, not to long ago.) They went something like this, "What's going on! I'm on the 22nd floor, and I just heard an explosion." "I'm on 72, and I heard one too."

2. Photographs of the buildings, just before it went down, show molten metal flowing out, from the building. Structural steel requires temperatures, well beyond burning jet fuel, to melt. Further, the color of the glowing molten metal, is also representative of high temperatures, beyond that of burning jet fuel. See source below, for detailed information, regarding structural steel melting points etc.

3. A chemical analysis of the molten metal, found at the site, shows traces of a chemical called, "Thermate". Thermate charges are used by professional demolition crews, to cut through steel beams, to demolish buildings. Incidentally, the samples were recovered by a member, of the clean up crew, who kept it as a souvenir memento. Most of the scrap metal, including the pools of molten steel, were recovered by a demolition crew, and discarded. There are though photos, at ground zero, showing beams that have been shearded at a right angle: Slag is shown dripping from the process. Click on photo, in website below; for a close up examination.

4. Thermate traces have also been found, inside the bodies, of those exposed to the gases from the molten debris; people such as firemen and clean up crew members.
