Wh are most men attracted to the smell of vanilla?

Ask a group of men what kind of fragrance they like to smell on women. The majority's answer will be vanilla. Why is that? What does vanilla remind you of?

Vanilla tends to smell somewhat like a beach smell or a tanning lotion smell. Maybe sub-conciousley we are thinking of all of the beautiful tanned female bodies at the beach....or food.

haha, apart from vanilla ice cream i havent noticed vanilla's ability to woo me. However, i will say that vanilla is certainly a pleasant summer smell to me.

good question, don't know why but i love the smell of vanilla, when i buy candles i always make sure that i have at least one vanilla candle. and i buy vanilla insense, love vanilla ice cream. would like to know myself.
