Don't give me anything about "OMG WICCA YOU'RE GOING TO BURN IN HELL!" I don't care about religion right now, so don't preach to me...

First that was a TV show and if you believe everything you see on TV then you should seek professional help. And secondly that was a very poor look at Wicca as it basically had nothing to do with it. You might as well ask if there really is a Hogwarts school of Wizardry.

im wiccan, for the last 25 yrs, no the charmed ones dont exist, nor do the deamons and all that bull. study the real thing. books abound at all major book stores. Try Scot Cunningham's, Wicca, a guide for the solitary practicioner.

No. It's Hollywood, and real witchcraft is nothing like that. Witches don't spend their time running around San Francisco, banishing demons with potions and cute little couplets.

They are also most decidedly not Wiccan, by the way.

P.S. Neither was Willow. Tara, maybe.

The TV show is very loosely based on more "Cultural Pagan" concepts than anything 'real'.

Just as the Gods/etc char actors in the series are loosely based on their mythological namesakes.

You realize "Charmed" is just a tv show right? Just like the island on LOST isn't really real, it's just Hawaii.

The Guardians and the Watchers exist. And, yeah, they even protect the ultra-Christian monotheistic fundamentalist.
