Does anybody play text games?? (MUD's)?

What is your favorite/least favorite thing about these games? How often do you play? How much money do you spend on these games??

I played them a while back. The only thing good about them is that you could play them at school/work without anyone knowing. I probably logged in once or twice a day for 15 minutes each time. I spent a total of 0 dollars on them.
