Yes, it is perfectly fine. Working out may even help ease cramps and other symptoms of PMS. You may find it to be more comfortable wearing a tampon than a pad. Be aware that working out may make you bleed a little heavier than normal (just temporary). Really, you can do anything you would normally do when you have your period. :)

Yes! Although, its a little uncomfortable. I usually try to avoid going to the gym during that time.

OF COURSE!!! Personally, I just add some iron and fiber to my diet that week. I drink extra water - as you are loosing fluid afterall. Keep your tidal volume up by staying hydrated and you should not experience ant difference in your workout. If you are crampy, take a motrin. Otherwise, go pump some iron. :)

Of course. She might want to use tampons though because pads can move around a lot. I've heard exercise actually reduces pain from cramps too.

yes...actually exericise has been shown to help with cramping pain. There's absolutely no reason not too - if you feel a pad is too uncomfortable while working out, use tampons.

Yes, having your monthly isnt like having a body part in a cast.. just means your moody and cramping alot.. it will do some good
