Trial and error. There isn't a "best" way to get rid of pimples.

Try "steaming" your face by boiling a pan of water on the stove, placing your face over the pan, and covering your head with a towel. Complete this process at least once a day, twice if you can; in the morning and before going to bed. Eliminate oily foods from your diet, cut your hair, and shampoo two or three times a day. Do not cleanse your face with soap and water. Try a cleansing cream or Noxema.

Don't use Proactiv. It has benzoyl peroxide and will give your face a rash or make it turn red. Try products with salicylic acid in them... maybe you could try going to the Body Shop or somewhere like that where they sell a bit more of a quality product. Good luck.

i would still go to the dermatologist... he/she could recommend something or perscribe something especially since you are allergic... Because alot of things out there have benzol peroxide... (ie proactive)

Look into Origin or Aveda products they really helped me, especially the masks.

its gonna sound gross...but take regular oatmeal...grind it up in the food processor so it turns into a rough powder mix it with hot water and rub it on your face...it deeply cleans your pores so all the blackhead go away that form pimples...it is just like the apricot scrub but better

Proactiv, but the Wal-Mart version of Proactiv works nearly as well.
