I'm actually getting confused... I'm an avid Discovery Channel/National Geographic Channel watcher - and they've had so many documentaries about the incident over the years (plus, I live in Manhattan, New York). Wasn't there another movie in theatres about Flight 91 (the one that didn't crash into any buildings)? There are so many movies and documentaries out these days that my head is spinning.

In the year 2004 there was a 2-hour documentary made about Flight 91 (the one that didn't crash into any buildings). There was a HUGE hoopla over that one - mainly because I think it was the first documentary to broach the subject, and secondly because many people believed it was too early to begin talking about it. That documentary wound up being very well-received. Plus, it was a well told and touching story. Perhaps "World Trade Center" will help us further put things in perspective.

It is a good time for the movie because people are starting to forget the sacrifices made by the Emergency Services Personnel and how many people they actually saved!

Actually, I don't think I would be the only one, but, personally, I think it is not in good taste. I have admired Nicholas Cage in his past works, but, this would be representative of his 'recent' decisions, regarding film(s). What would it be called "Weather-Man goes to New York City?"

I love the idea...I hope that they do it right though and not something corny...I hope the don't stray from reality too much...I do love the idea though because this maybe something that can help the families even more/and help the younger public realize the magnitude of the situation!!!! I can't wait to see it...maybe I'll see it with My b/f!!!♥
