I have the Chain in my backpack. I click on it and it pops out but i cant do anything else with it. when I click near the truck or on the chain again it pop back in the backpack! I*ve made it this far with no help! and I*M STUCK!!! plz help, Before i punch the computer!!!!! thankz! :)

The Chain was in the Tomb where you had to Move the Lever for the gait. you had to click the lever then click the chain. once you got the Book in the other room you click the glob to go to oil city. once in oil city U need to use the chain to hook up the truck...and Here I am stuck....

to get the chain you have to Go the whole way to the bottem of the crypt the whole way to the left then Up 2 then down and you will see the lever. Click on the lever to open the other gate. then click on the chain on the lever....MAKE SURE IT GOES INTO YOUR BACKPACK!

what happens if it doesnt go into your backpack...then what. cause it isnt in my backpack and i went back to look for it and it is gone..so now what do i do

OK I found the lever on my own before finding the answer here- I hooked up the chain to the big oil tanks and it automatically hooks them to the truck and then the door opens- :) You will find the final clue in the desk drawer.

After restarting the challenge several times with no luck, i finally just went back to the game board and then entered the challenge again..... that time, the chain worked.... probably a bug in NBC's game system or something... too bad I even wasted an insurance policy in my attempt to figure it all out......
