No, you have to go to the doctor. There may be stuff left in there (think of what happens to meat left in a moist place at 98.6 degrees for 8 weeks, now picture that inside of you).

No. You should try to get to the hospital. There is nothing healthy about a miscarriage. You need to make sure everything has passed (for your own health).

You don't ALWAYS have to have a D & C after a miscarriage-- but the ones who need it, really need it.
Occasionally, the tissue left inside will get infected and that is a really serious health issue.

Try to get to the hospital, even if you have to take a taxi.
I am so sorry about your loss...

I have had misscarriages also, only went to the hospital once for pain. I suggest that you know your body better than us, so if you feel unsure, I would get urself to the hosp. watch for heavy bleeding, dizziness, intence pain, call 911 if you can't get a ride. But, if you feel ok, it might be ok to stay home and pass it, just be careful. I've never had a D&C.

you should call your gyno. but yes for the most part its okay to let it pass on its own. though extremely painful. take motrin IB for the pain. it would ride out like a normal period, and keep in close contact with your gyno. it can take about a week for the pain to subside.

you can develop an infection if pieces of the fetus stay inside.

NO IT'S NOT HEALTHY AT ALL...GET A RIDE AND GET A D&C...IT COULD BE WORSE FOR YOU IN THE LONG RUN....SOME HOSPITALS CAN PROVIDE YOU WITH A RIDE OR SOME KIND OF TRANSPORTATION...SO FOR THE BETTER...GO AND DO IT!

That is what my midwife told me and just what I did. They did monitor my hormone level to make sure though. See a Midwife...they are more likely to take a natural approach.
