You've got a pretty comprehensive list... I'm impressed you have Sufjan Stevens - he's my current indie fave. I'd add Angels and Airwaves. They have a great 80's sort of feel to them that reminds me of old U2 and Ultravox (a couple of bands you also may want to add).
