Marvel, he started out in X-Force as an enemy of Cable, then he just kind of branched out from there.

Deadpool is a Marvel character who is a result of the weapon x program. He originally fought Cable and X-force, but now is more of mean superhero than a supervillian. If he were to describe himself, he would say he fights only for him, as he is a mercenary.
It should be noted that however he is essentially a direct ripoff of a DC character know as Deathstroke. They both have similar powers, similar characteristics, and their real names are Wade Wilson (Deadpool) and Slade Wilson (Deathstroke). Deadpool is one of many of Rob Liefeld's characters who have been questioned for their originality. However, though initially similar, subsequent writers have taken the characters in very different directions, so that they are now two very unique and different people.

Marvel, he is teamed-up with Cable a lot, but I cannot stand Deadpool, he's a lower version of Wolverine.
