I've allways wondered the same thing. It really is pointless. It would make much more sense for he/she to just walk into the bank and interact with the bank rep. face to face. There is no way that a blind person can even see what is available in his/her account. Obviously not a lot of thought was put into this act.

Sometimes people walk up to the drive-through ATMs, I know I have. Also sometimes the passenger gets out and does their transactions!

Ha ha! That's funny. Maybe though it's for passengers that might be blind. Of course, I've noticed it on the drive through only ones, too.

Just cause their blind doesn't mean they don't need money. At least the computer won't rip them off since it can't tell their blind. Btw, they're driven to the bank by someone who can see.

i once saw a brial sign like 8 feet high. i then stood in wonder fer a couple of minutes

A blind passenger could be sitting in the back driver's side seat... That's all I can figure.

lol wow......umm that is a tough one......maybe they dont make atms special just for drive thrus, its just like any other atm........that would be a good joke though.

In case there is a blind person. They may not drive but they travel.
