you could name your cat onix (like black onix ya know) it just hit me, but it's really cute for a kitty. boy or girl and i bet noone has that name for an animal. it'd be original

Go with an original name like one that matches its color of fur or something that it does the moment it sees you, or just go with the first name in your gut. Don't name is a human name because one day you might meet someone with that name, and think of your cat everytime. Maybe name it after a historical figure?
