I haven't been in a chat room, in probably 4 years, but the other day I decided to, and no one was talking, why is that? Any frequent chatters that know the answer?

Because people get bored of the same computer banter "asl" When someone says asl one more time it gets annoying. The pickup lines are not as creative as in person. Instead its so what you look like? You can't tell if the people or real or fake half the time. Now the room is just filled with bots and horny old men looking for young girls.
