It was the show with the little Terrier dog. Why don't they make more educational shows like Wishbone? It was entertaining, historically educational, and it taught kids to have good morals!

"What's the story, Wishbone?..."
My daughter was a baby when that show was on, I wish they still showed it! I think I was the one who was actually enjoying it because she was too little to really understand it. We got her a life-size Wishbone stuffed animal and it still sits on her bed!
I loved how Wishbone was always one of the characters of the book they were showcasing!
You're right, they SHOULD make more shows like that. Actually they should have kept making more Wishbone episodes!

Thanks for takin' me back! ;)

Now that was a great kid's show. I used to love Wishbone and would watch it everyday after school. I loved how each episode would relate to some famous work of literature or historical event. Plus that dog was so cute, I would beg my mom to let me get one.
