The only way you can use a wireless phone on a wireless network is if it is WIFI capable, and you have Internet phone capable modem hanging on your network. Check the manufacturer of you phone. For an Internet phone cable modem check you local broadband IP Provider.

Install a VOIP phone system. You'll need a VOIP phone switch or router and special wireless phones. Cisco makes some very nice ones, but it's pretty expensive to get it up and running.

I couldn't reply to your e-mail as you haven't verified your e-mail address. Here's what I tried to send:

You'll need a Cisco 2821 or better router -- about $3,500 - $5,000 and up, plus a copy of Call Manager Express for it -- about another $1,500 or so. The 2821 supports up to 48 IP phones. If you might need more than that, the 2851 supports up to 72. The router can also serve as your internet gateway/firewall and as a VPN endpoint if you need to support road warriors or branch offices.

Wired phones are about $150 - $500 each and connect to LAN ports. Most have an integrated switch so you can connect a PC and the phone to a single LAN drop.

The 7920 wireless IP phones start around $350 and go up to about $550 depending on licenses and options.

Allow another $3,000 - $5,000 for installation, setup, and IT staff training.

If you're not familiar with setting these up, it would be worth locating a consultant who can provide a turnkey solution.

It sounds like a lot at first, but most PBX systems will run you close to six figures just for the hardware.
