Lies, greed, abandoning New Orleans, warrantless spying, illegal invasions of innocent countries, torturing & indefinitely detaining innocent humans who haven't been convicted of anything, exposing undercover CIA operatives, supressing dissent while claiming to fight for democracy, ignoring extreme poverty around the world.....the list is endless!

Bush, Condi, Cheney & others are former heads of oil companies. We have nothing but greedy oil men & women steering our country into disaster.

WHY ARE WE SO COMPLACENT? The only way things will change is for everyone at the grassroots level to demand real leadership. Peace, justice, ending poverty, diplomacy, cooperation...why have we ignored these and who will stand with me in calling for change? The world is waiting on Americans to act.

By the way, I do get out there so don't tell me I don't. I find it odd that exercising free speach is often met with extreme anger and hostility. Even just talking about peace and justice.

You are right! We all need to do SOMETHING to boot these people in the *** and start getting them going. If every pissed off American made one phone call or wrote one letter to their state representative in Washington they would get so flooded with input they would HAVE to do something. Come on people, LETS TAKE THIS COUNTRY BACK FROM THE GREEDY POLITICIANS. You asked a great question. Please take a look at my similar question asked a little while ago. I would really like your opinion on it.

Americans for the most part do not care about the world around them...that's why the voter turnouts are always so dismal. They just don't care. People aren't going to alter their lives or be bothered. I heard on the news just yesterday that more people voted on American Idol than they did for president in 2004! That's pathetic! Taylor Hicks got more votes than a presidential candidate! The politicians though are just as bad....they are only concerned about being re-elected...not doing anything about the country. They'll tell people what they want to hear or whatever it'll take to get people's votes. Nowadays, people are under the impression that to be patriotic, you have to go along with anything and everything the government says and are willing to give up rights in the name of "security." People are in fear of being labeled "unpatriotic." Bottom line is Americans just don't care unless it's something that is affecting them personally.

because not everyone sees the world in black and white

and even those that do, don't all see it your way

there are many who think that Bush, Condi, Cheney, in spite of some errors, are doing better than any of the alternatives could have or would have

so tell us, what you you do?

SPECIFICALLY, what would you do if you were president
easy to condemn what somebody else did
but have we heard a better plan from anyone? I haven't

I don't know about everybody else, but as for myself. I find myself behind this computer, trying to inform people about the state of affairs we are in. I have found this short video, that can spell it out in a concise manner.

Would you please take a look at about 8 - 10 minutes of this interview with Professor Steven Jones ? It's a 45 minute video and well worth looking at, to its end. At the very least, pass it on to those you care about.

Because people are losing their health care and other job benefits and have to work overtime to help their family survive, so they have no time? Maybe that is why lives are that way, to keep people busy and away from protesting all the time. Hmmm...

i would take time to argue with you on your claims but now is not the time to do it. i don't worry about the 'world waiting on Americans to act', rather i am looking for America to protect us, the Americans. i don't care about the world right now. our existence is being threatened by radical Islam. that problem must be eliminated, now. we can argue why democrats lost the election later.
