Yes. The falls are so beautiful, breathtaking and it's so humbling to be there. I loved it. It's something that everyone should see in their lifetime, but not like Disneyland where you stay from open to close and ride all the rides you can. When I saw the night lights last, they were red, white and blue on the American side. Definately try to see the falls.

I saw the Falls almost every Saturday from the age of 2-13 and never tired of seeing it. Although I rarely go to Niagara Falls now, when I do I still am amazed by it. I personally prefer going "out of season", only because it is quieter. So yes, I think it is worth the drive, never know what else you could see on the way.

Is your family young? Old? Have kids?
These following attractions are really popular:
*Maid of the Mist
*Journey Behind the Falls (very cool)
*Butterfly Conservatory
*White Water Walk
*Marineland (for the "kids" hee hee)
*Jet Boat rides through the rapids.
*Tons of places to go to on Clifton Hill (best Haunted House by far - do not even try the other ones believe me - is Nightmares Fear Factory. It's not actually on Clifton but just off, but it's AWESOME...I don't want to give it away tho!
*Rainforest Cafe/Planet Hollywood/Hershey Factory
*Tons of places to buy really good fudge
*Niagara on the Lake is a GORGEOUS place to visit - you won't regret the trip.
You can buy tickets for these in packs to make them a lot cheaper if you know you want to do a lot of things. Plus, if you don't want to drive/deal with parking prices....park and use the People Mover (yeah it's really called that) which is a really cool nice bus system that shuttles you to and fro all of the places I just mentioned (except Marineland/Niagara on the Lake).
Hope this helps!

We just returned from a trip that included Niagara Falls. The Falls are beautiful on the Canadian side. Definitely worth seeing. We went to Marineland - killer whales, beluga whales, dolphins, seals, sea lions, and rides. We really enjoyed it. We have two small children.

Of course it is!
The House of Horrors is awesome, Ripley's believe it or not museum is great, You can ride the Maid of the Mist, and at night you can stay in a hotel or in the Casino!
It is quite crowded, but the parks are peaceful!

Absolutely. Maid of the Mist is a fun excursion. It is one of the biggest Honeymoon spots in America. I believe there is also a butterfly conservatory and an aquarium there as well. If you have the opportunity definately check it out.
