There is nothing here to really do. Besides the sports why do we all stay here?

I don't care if I won't be missed. Guess what? I love Northern Arizona, but I also love the snow. Guess what else? I'm moving to Idaho next week! So long suckers!

Arizona isn't so affordable anymore, but I can still get a house in Idaho for under $150,000. Can you find that here in the middle of the city? Nope! Here I come beautiful green grass! And lots of snow.

I agree with you. I moved here two years ago and I wish I hadn't. The city looks lifeless. The building are dry and dusty looking, you see meth heads walking everywhere and now it is killers on the loose. I'm getting out of Phoenix asap and I hope never to move back. People don't even understand you in the stores when you ask questions, and they have non english speaking people taking your order at the drive thru restaurants. I got fooled into believing that Phoenix was pretty because of the palm trees and mountains but those are the only pretty things in phoenix. Everything else is ugly..Everything.. To those that are thinking of moving here, THINK AGAIN....

I like Phoenix! It is a large city with plenty to do. Tempe and Scottsdale have a great night life. The roads are probably the best in the country. A few months of bad weather buys us a winter where you can go outside and not freeze. A reasonable cost of living. It is a great location... you can drive to the beach in 5 hours, you can be in Vegas in 5 hours, and you can drive to Flagstaff to ski... I don't know what more you could want?

I found out while I was living in Chandler Arizona that there was a few things to do. -----I use to go out in the desert and target practice with 22's, 30-06's, revolvers. and it was kind of thrilling. Four wheeling was fun in the desert. I use to go fishing up that big mountain behind Apache Junction. I forget the name. If I got tired of being in Chandler then I went north or south just to get away. I went to Tucson, Tombstone and I even took a trip to Las Vegas. The only thing that bugged me was the lack of rain and to much sun. Good motorcycle weather though and there's no daylight savings time.

Heh not nice... I love Phoenix! I've lived all over and will never leave here again. The weather is wonderful except in August. Have you lived Back East? Winters are cold as all get out and last from Sept. to June. Depressing... Phoenix is the place to be...

Because in spite of he heat from April through September, the weather is great the rest of the year. Also no mosquitos so you can sit outside year around. It depends upon what you like to do. There's a lot of golf, tennis, swimming, art museums, rodeos, different celebrations. I love it. Also, it's close to Las Vegas, Laughlin, San Diego, etc.

i live in az because if you want to go for a vacation, everything is relatively close... i've gone on road trips to Vegas, Mexico, L.A, SanDiego, Grand Canyon, Laughlin... you can find somewhere interesting to go in almost any direction! and most of these places are only a 4-5 hour drive away!

If you think there's nothing to do in Phoenix (or Arizona), then leave. You won't be missed.
