At our Lowe's hardware store they have Nick Jr. Paint. It is safe, odor free and non-toxic. I used it in both of my girl's rooms. (the bathroom too) My daughter has an endocrine problem so it is very important for us not to expose her to toxic chemicals.

They make some great water-based ones that are kid and animal safe. Go to your local home improvement store and ask there about which ones are recommend. You'll get a unprejudiced opinion about brands. If you go to a paint store, you'll get stuck with their brand.

simple latex paint or they also have the paint called chalkboard paint...........washes easy and the kid can write on it. Check at the local hardware store and they have paint especially for kids rooms

latex paint, benjamin moore has really good lines with low fumes. Id recommend painters line eggshell.
