Last year when I mentioned to my gynecologist that we were thinking of seeking parenthood, he said 8 weeks into the pregnancy is the first time I'd need a check up.
Personally, I understand your eagerness (my period's due Thursday ;o)), but I think it's best to wait for either a positive test or at least 2 weeks after your period was due so there is time for the HCG to build up and be detectable.
The 8 weeks is probably to be extra sure, especially since things are so tenuous the first few weeks and subject to change. Plus wouldn't you hate to keep paying for extra doctor's visits?

your doc is an a**, you can find out a week after your ovulation. Besides there is blood test that can be done, But if the doc wants you to wait go back in two weeks, if you don't get your period. Although I have to say that since your test is neg. I highly doubt it you might be, but you never know you might get a surprise! Good Luck

Actually it doesn't matter how much you spend on the pregnancy test...they all test for the same hormone. I bought my pregnancy test at the Dollar tree and both times it showed I was pregnant before an ept or first response. Swear to my name! I would wait a week before going back. My best friend went to the doctor's tested negative...had a MRI...and found out that she was pregnant a week later! Good luck sweetheart!

I truly have a clean surgeon interior the final 2 years, and he keeps to an exceedingly solid time table. i haven't waited to any extent further than 15 min if that. Years in the past, I had a doctor that i became fortunate if I have been given in to verify in 2 hours, heavily. the subject became the scheduling guy or woman who could supply a number of human beings an identical time appt. a number of cases we interior the waiting room could tell our appts to one yet another, and that they have been an identical time. finally it became delivered to the attention of the surgeon, wherein he became no longer attentive to the long wait, and he talked to the scheduler. i could pass after college, 3 pm having to take my homework, and be fortunate if I have been given homestead by 8 pm. it is not honest to the sufferers, particularly in case you sense undesirable. If a doctor is late, better than 20 min, he would desire to come to the waiting room to say sorry and clarify. We as sufferers are envisioned to reach on time, so i think that's honest. Emergencies happen, although this is the suitable suited ingredient to do to tell human beings. enable me supply you a touch. I found out with my very energetic baby, to call forward to verify how plenty time they are working in the back of time table, then adjust your arrival time. this is going to shop you from waiting plenty too long.

best way to get pregnant is to have sex on the expected day of your period what happens is that the egg would now be released an a sperm lives up to 3 days after having sex an the suggested time frame is abouit 3 to 5 days after ur first missed period to do the home exam an i would say u should check ur doc at least in two weeks time
