some posters said you ovulate 14 days after your period. that is not exactly true. every woman ovulates approximately 14 days BEFORE your next period is due. it's called your luteal phase. here is a good definition of luteal phase. http://www.ovulation-calendar.com/hlp-d04-luteal-phase.html

now, the reason i said it is not exactly true is because if your cycle is a typical 28 days--then yes---14 days after your period is correct. but, if you have a longer or shorter cycle then you would not ovulate 14 days after your period. for example if you have a 25 day cycle, you would ovulate on day 11--not 14. and if you had a 35 day cycle, you would ovulate on day 21. therefore, if you know when you are expecting your period---count back 14 days---and have sex in a window of 3 days before and 2 days after....somewhere around there.

also, you can log your periods on this website....it will help you keep track, estimate when you are ovulating....tell you when your next period is due http://www.cyclespage.com/ GOOD LUCK and HAVE FUN!

I would highly recommend you read "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weshler.

Then go to www.fertilityfriend.com and begin charting you cycles using OPKs (ovulation predictor kits) from www.saveontests.com

Temping should be done first thing in the morning at the same time, before you get out of bed and do anything!

Most women ovulate 10 to 14 days after the first day of their last period. If you pay attention to your body, you will notice that your vaginal mucous gets thinner and there is more of it during this time. Have unprotected sex frequently during this time period and see what happens.

You start counting on the first day of your period. Most women ovulate around the 14th day of their cycle.

between 12 and 14 days after the last day of your period, your temp should be higher on that day too, just check your temp every night before you go to bed

Anytime from 2 weeks after your period ends. The more times, the better chances, obviously.
