I would rather if someone was going to say I love you then just say it even if love you might be easer just like luv ya yeah that drives me nuts!!! It means a lot more to most girls if their b\f friend says I love you. With out the "I" it makes it sound less meaningful and serious.

I think it may be easier for some people to just say "love you" because it sounds a little more casual. The words "I love you" are the three most powerful words anyone can say. Just leaving of the "I" makes it sound a little less serious. I wouldn't say it was insincere though.

it all depends. When those three little words are said, they are said with their full meaning and power. When you take off the "I," it can be said with more of a casual air. If the sayer of those words says them with all meaning and you can look him in the eye and tell that he means every word, then it's sincere. But if he doesn't even look at you and just flippantly says it as he walks away, then, yes, it's insincere. I hope that makes sense.

no, short cut :) seriusly, it depends on the person saying it. love has a lot of meanings. there is the act of loving ,caring or just really wanting to say the word to please you. i say love you to my babydaddy just to get him off the phone. i am not in love with him just care. so it depends on whose saying it and how they define it
