This is my third pregnancy, and i was very sick with my first over 10 yrs ago. I had a baby a little over a year ago, and with with both my second and now third pregnancy the sickness feels just like being hungover some of the time. No I don't drink nor do I smoke, or do drugs, does anyone else out there share that feeling? I can't stand it!

I'm sorry I didn't think I had to be more explicit about a pregnancy question but if you are of the wrong gender to be pregnant please keep your ignorance to yourself!

I developed gestational diabetes during my second pregnancy, and I'm aware of the likelihood of having it this time again. I am almost 11 weeks in this pregnancy and I follow a diabetic diet ever since I found out I'm pregnant again. I'm very concious of portions and starchy intake, etc. That's a really good point that you brought up, thanks for the insight. I felt very sick with my first baby but it wasn't this gross hungover feeling even though I have to admit that I threw up the worst with the first, than I have so far with these two. I looked like a zombie with the first because the sickness was so bad I couldn't eat solids for a month. But this hungover feeling is something all it's own while pregnant. I'll bring up the sugar to my doctor and the likelihood of this feeling being related. It seems so to me! Thanks again.

You didn't say how far along you are. However, it could be from morning sickness if you are in your first trimester.
One thing that you should think about is anemia which can lead you to feel exhausted (to the point of not being able to really function), headaches, weakness.
Another thing you should probably read up on is gestational diabetes, and/or prediabetes/hypoglycemia. Both can cause you to feel lightheaded, faint, dizzy, weak, shaky, nauseous, and exhausted.
You weren't specific in your description of "hangover" but I get the drift and hope that I helped you. Positively you should mention this to your OB/Midwife at next appt and/or when the feeling happens again or gets worse.
Good luck!

My fiance did the same thing to me regularly my entire pregnancy. Now that our daughter is here he never goes out without either me or both of us. It's like baby jitters for some men. It's not uncommon for men to spaz a bit even though they aren't the ones going through all the changes. I figured that since I expected my fiance to be home and help with the baby when she finally arrived that I would enjoy what little bit of alone time I had left myself because that was the last time I was ever going to be alone again for some time. Enjoy it, don't push too hard on him to stay home all the time, and urge him to look for a job.

You are feeling this way because alien invaders have taken over your body. I felt like this too occasionally. Light headed, bad taste, groggy, it's the aliens.
