Arnold represents California well, as a typical Californian wierdo, and it remains to be seen if what he is trying to do will help or hurt the average people in California, so it depends upon what you mean by "good for California".

he sure has a lot of pazzazz and is a fun governor to have.

Davis was a scapegoat for larger problems in CA.

Considering the man he replaced, yes, most defiantly...
So far, California has had nothing but flaming liberals in charge who have all but bankrupt the state. I think putting someone a lot more centrist in the office of Governor is a great change!

I wasn't going to vote for him again because he helped Bush get reelected and he dissed U.C. Merced. But I kind of like the guy, so I don't know. I think he tries his best to help California.

He took strong stands and turned around quite a few problems. He overstepped politcally against unions, but learned from it. The legislature can't be trusted. Without his veto, they would be turned loose. Ferret Face can't do the job.
