The only vampire movie I ever liked was The Lost Boys. But then again I had a huge crush on Corey Haim.

Oh my gosh!!! Death to vampires! When i first saw your question i was thinking "they haven't made a good vampire movie since Lost Boys". I had the poster on my bedroom wall and even read the book. My corey of choice was also corey haim (but the frog brothers were pretty cool too!)

No I think they need to make more not less - however they need to start making good ones of the calibre of Near Dark.
What I really want to see is a good version made of an Anne Rice Vampire Chronicle - I only watched Interview With The Vampire and Queen Of The Damned because I loved the novels ,I hated the second film especially the casting of Akasha (Aaliyah ????BIG mistake) but WAS impressed with Stuart Townshend as Lestat - a much more convincing one than Tom Cruise in the first film.

i love lost boys...but interview with the vampire was also good...personally i like vampire movies so i think more should be made
