Who isn't?

Oh Iknow... everybody else my age in this country!
Is reality TV even reality?

It should be renamed "scenario TV" or to be more accurate, "material people struggling in barely non-resourcefull scenarios TV'.

I think people find it entertaining to watch snobs who can afford to squander funds on just about anything without thoughts of recycling, reusing, or returning as well as developing a budget suffer when they enter situation that they think resemble the real world. Hence shows such as real world, road rules, and that one with Paris Hilton.

Unfortunately the irrelevant challenges, unessesary confessions, and inability to hold a camera straight make the shows more stressful and hectic.

Let's thank the film "EdTV" for starting it all......(round of appaluse)....party's over, guys!

Reality TV was cool in the beginning. After the third seasons of Survivor, Big Brother and Amazing Race.....the whole concept began to blow.

Anderson Cooper's short lived "The Mole" (met a quick death due to 9/11 and Cooper's subsequent move to CNN) was nice, in it's Bond-like 007 way. And for all us guys who got snubbed by the gold-digger girl: Joe Millionaire was our savior.

Window peeps into life with The Osbournes and Anna Nicole Smith caught my attention......briefly.

And save for the positive-themed "The Biggest Loser", where lives are being saved and stories of courage are shown......

.....reality TV has well "jumped the shark"......and joins the daytime TV talk show garbage and "People's Court" wannabes.

The only true reality TV is sports. All other "reality" shows are at least 90% fake. The shows suffer embarrassment after embarrassment (bachelors with criminal records, etc.), yet people don't care. The idiot masses continue to watch.

I can not wait until this trend ends.

i'm not really, it's unpredictable and it seems like everything else is really predictable anymore. all the comedies have white main characters with some funny minority sidekicks, all the medical dramas have ***** characters that want to get a rize out of you, all the crime dramas have to do with some sexual twist that makes it supposedly intriguing but it's not. i'm really in a reality-slash-non-fiction mode lately (HGTV, diy stuff, etc) ! i know this won't get me the best answer at all, but it's true, everything else seems like i've already seen it a thousand times even if it's brand new!
