well i think not. He shouldnt have recieved the golden ball especially after that head butt. everyone just likes him because hes a senior player. anyway the thing is he was voted as to recieve the golden ball before the lengendary incident so i guess he had to get it. however i think canavarro did an amazing job and should have recieved it instead

They, I mean FIFA gave him the Golden Ball, for me not fair, but I am not in command , for me player named the best has to be good in any field of a player, including character and personality and of course self control, what esxample they give to future players, for the youth.

Absolutely!!!! Concerning the head butt, he's a human after all... And no one is supposed to judge him… He did what he thought he should in the flash of a moment. No human being is so immune to anger… especially during the last game of his life… And I respect him for that! He deserves to be the best player in the world cup, and he deserves to be the best player in my heart!

he definitely stood out being his last cup and all but he did leave a negative lasting impression on all soccer fans and i've got to say that changes things alot. i personally don't consider him to be the best player in all aspects, especially in sportsmanship but in playing his game he does do a great job

yes he won the fifa golden ball award despite the head butt and Cannavaro won the silver while Andrea Pirlo won the bronze ball

Yes. The head butt, though rude and unnecessary, was rather amusing. My friends and I couldn't stop laughing...it was just so unbelievably violent, and yet done in perfect header form.
