This would be some scenario where you tricked them, perhaps in some investment scheme but were legally covered. This would also be the worst and most selfish billionaire though honest even though malicious. This is hypothetical.

Either you are kidding or we are coming from two significantly different moral positions.

The answer is, yes, in 2 seconds.

And, if he died and left his dough to his 3 month old daughter, and I could pull the same hustle on whoever is handling her money, I would do that too.

If I were to be 'generous', I would leave someone with $ 100 million (after tax). The interest on that would give them $ 4.75 million every year if they just put it in CDs. If it were placed here and there, even with a conservative approach, they would get at least $ 7 million a year, with jumps up to $ 12-15 million in some years. And that is not touching the principal. That's plenty of walkin' around money and enough to live pretty much like royalty. (minus the Palace of Versailles).

Even in my most Catholic (I am) moments, I would not feel guilty about taking all but $ 100 million from someone.

Is it stealing ? All day long.

In an absolute sense, by simply living / existing / being and remaining alive, every living thing is 'stealing' - none of the resources we use actually belong to us. Ownership is a legal construct.

No. Obtaining such, one would also obtain all that's attached with it! Regardless of what type of person it was that had it not coming into on ones own merits (legal or not), it would mean absolutely nothing at all. Plus you'd find yourself burdened with all that came with it. Life and any form of happiness which is real and which lasts isn't in or about money or stature. Besides this, once one did acquire it, their life for the most part would be wasted in trying to keep it. LOL No thanks!

Stealing is stealing, regardless of whether it's "legal" or not. And if I did, then I would become a selfish egotistical billionaire myself! Selfish because I would have the money, egotistical because I would think myself more deserving of it. Not to mention hypocritical for becoming that which I had just "punished".

No thanks. My principles aren't that cheap.

Yes, I would...but then I'd want to become his best friend, and try to turn him into the nicest guy in the world. I'd make him see how unhappy he was as a selfish person. How spreading the wealth is a joyful thing.

Of I would if this man is a real prick. Your description doesn't say you have to use the money for evil of selfish purposes, so just say a sensible amount of it with the people of the world. Like giving some of it to charity.

I doubt it... If I did that I would probably become just like the selfish oaf. I believe in Karma and would likely give myself a dose of "Instant Karma" totally unconsciously! lol

No. I want to earn my money fair and square with hardwork and determination. I don't care if he is selfish and egotistical. I wouldn't sink to his level just for a little bit of money. That is what money will do to you. It turns you into someone your not. If you are willing to do that for money then who knows what else you would be willing to do. I definately would not.

No, because what made him selfish was probably the money in the first place and we all know how money can change people.

Absolutely NOT!

STEALING IS JUST THAT, STEALING!

Whether you can find a loop hole in the law, or just out right steal from them, the ultimate goal is to seperate them from thier cash and put it in your pocket.

Its wrong! And, I value my soul enough, that I would Not steal from someone for cash or anything else, because I TRY not to sin, and to steal by reason of deception is just the same as Sinning, by another name, its still enough to warrant me the wrath of my Saviour!

No thanks, I will stay "clean" and since I am Saved, I will not "soil" my LORD, by driving the nails in HIS HANDS, with my Sins...

I wish you well..

Jesse
