I had my new (shining) computer for a week now, and upon playing a game, my cursor simply stop responding. It's a new mouse, so I assumed (even though if I assume, I make an *** out of u) that everything would work properly. After replugging the mouse, trying another mouse, it was to no avail. Everything else works except the standard mouse. What is the deal?

Your computer is broken. Take it back. Especially if it did not work with a second mouse.

You sis not say you have rebooted. (And don't want to assume). If you unplugged the mouse you will have to reboot before it will owrk.

If it still does not work, try a different mouse (even new ones can go bad)
If that does not work, try a different kind of mouse (USB rather than PS2) because mouse ports can go bad
If that does not owrk, try a better grade of cheese for feeding the mouse in the future

its called lag. either your computer cant run the game, and the mouse cant move because your computer dosent have the processing power, or that your mouse, and or port is shot
