He's not my leader and I don't respect him. He's a liar, a thief, an idiot, a moron and on top of all that, an intellectual midget who has to ask Dick Cheney if its ok to wipe his butt when he's done in the bathroom. What has Bush ever done for this country that is good? Not one thing!!! But hey, he's made it possible for a lot of kids to never know their father and has created a lot of widows in a war that has no justification. When he first took office he told people he was going to get rid of Saddam Hussein because he had a contract out on Daddy at the time of the First Gulf War. SO, he hid behind 9/11 and did just that. He hides behind the Bible for everything he does such as vetoing stem cell research funding when it could have either saved countless lives or made the quality of life better for those with debilitating illnesses or injuries.
If you look up the word "fool" in the dictionary - you'll find Bush's picture right there. He is without a doubt, the worst President in history.

Oh, Darlin'! Wish I could be for Bush, but he is a moron and a dangerous one, at that! Why isn't he impeached? Can't figure this one out - seems like we the people should at least have a leader who leads where we want to go. I love some of the answers I've seen so far and, by gosh, they're all good. Too bad we couldn't all pray for relief from Bush and have a real-deal, no-doubt-this-is-from-God event that would make it very clear to everyone that what's going on here just "ain't right"!

Who says you should respect him??!?!?!? "A country can not be both ignorant and free, but can be freely ignorant" - Thomas Jefferson (Founding father) In support of open arguments with politicans. Stop fooling yourself gal, there is a reason why there is a first amendment (freedom of speech) and it is not so you can bash the newest celebrity couple, but allows you to bash the president. Infact the founding father were in support of president and politician bashing.

Whoa, you took the words right out of my mouth. I feel the same way. The split we have between us as a people on this issue is weakening us and is causing us to be mocked by the entire world. Like it or not he speaks for us all and we need to unite as a people under our flag and uphold our rights. We don't necessarily have to like Bush, but if we want any changes to be made we have to stop bashing each other and simply solve problems. It stems further than Bush though. It is, I feel, the parties themselves to blame for this, both of them. They are taking advantage of us by taxing the hell out of us while not coming up with any solutions to problems. They just bicker and try to strengthen their own party all the while forgetting that we, the citizens, are this country and all their money and power means nothing without us. It is time for our politicians to start representing us and not their political party. Thank you for the question. I enjoyed answering it.

I am against him. He has lied, he has treated the Constitution like nothing but a piece of paper, he has done more signing statements than all other presidents combined. Bush only cares about the rich, the special interest parties, and keeping Re pubs in office. He doesn't do anything to keep out illegals, he wants them. He doesn't mind our young men and women getting killed in his war but he wont vote for stem cell research that could cure millions of people. Is that enough?

I'm for some of his policies and against others.
Fors:
War on terror. It could be fought better.
Tax Cuts. Need to throw out this system and come up with something simpler
95% for his abortion and ebryonic stem cell position
Supreme court nominees (except what's her name who didn't have the chops)
Againsts:
Increases in federal involvement in education. It's a states issue
Gay marriage ban. I think it should be left up to the states.
Immigration. Need to stop the flood of illegals into the US first. Then systematically go after illegal workers and the people who employ them. NO BENEFITS for illegals.

Excuse me, he is not my leader. That is the reason why we vote. My canadate lost, granted. But I did not vote for that thing sitting in the Dark House. He has single handed turn this country and this planet in half. When Sept 11 occurred, he had the planet on our side. Even the Iranians protested what happened. But he got so full of himself and the image of himself that he attacked Iraq. They did not attack us that day. They did not have weapons of mass distruction. Yet, he said he did. He is a liar. He is not my leader.

I agree with you. I am for Bush because I have no reason to be against him. He handled 9/11 and Katrina relatively well, and I think that's all we as people can ask for. If people hate him so much, they shouldn't've voted for him.

Against. One gets the suspicion that he is steering this country towards an American brand of fascism to keep the GOP in power for decades to come.
I would like to dismiss this as paranoid rantings, but it doesn't look like I'm that far off-base.
