I used to believe that there was some sort of Alien cover up conspiracy going on, but until recently, (like 2 years ago, and I'm not sure, can't explain why) I believe that there is just A LOT of military tests, and new jets, planes, or weapons that's tested there. I think the reason they boot people out so quickly is because they don't want some sort of espionage deal going on whether it be a leak of information inside, or outside the country.
The last thing America needs is for someone to find out, then tell of our secret weapons so to speak. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe there is an alien cover up. Maybe they're preparing for an alien encounter, by creating all kinds of weapons, or spacecraft. I just find it a little more logical (now, that is) to believe the first idea.

On a final note, I think (for the most part) that the way the American government is run sucks, but even they must have their secrets if it means protecting us all for the greater good. Although I hate to admit it, sometimes you have to trust the goverment whether you want to or not.

I live in Las Vegas and been out there to "watch" for things never saw anything that can not be explained. I do believe in UFOs so that not it. If you want to have a secert base would you go head and make a big deal out of one, area52 dreamland, Keep saying nothing is out there to draw attention to it then put the real base somewhere else. Its an old magic trick, make them think they are seeing something they are not

Government paper-pushing, mostly. The real secret aircraft testing occurs in an area that gets considerably less media attention.

Same thing that's always been going on; testing secret aircraft and illegally dumping toxic waste.
