Sadly, I find that, with very few exceptions, Yahoo Answers has shown me that there is little to no hope for the future of humanity.
Therefore, I pose one last question to you all, and then I bid thee adieu forever:
(naturally, this is a "religion and spirituality" question)
Those of you who say, "I don't believe in X because the Bible doesn't mention it," please provide examples, and how you have managed to master the art of suspension of disbelief, even when faced with overwheming evidence in favor, while this amazing talent eludes the majority of us.
Thank you, and good night.

"Sadly, I find that, with very few exceptions, Yahoo Answers has shown me that there is little to no hope for the future of humanity."?

And how would YOU know what is best for humanity? You are a human. Have not humans of all beliefs never failed to screw up for the past hundreds of thousands of years? Are not all of the most heinous acts of evil commited in the name of what is best for "humanity"? What makes you think you know so much? What makes you think you are better than Chrsitians? I will tell you one thing the Bible says: Pride is a sin.

This is pretty scary to be your final question. First time I've ever heard " X" even mentioned in relation to the Bible as a religious entity. Are you sure you really, really want to wander off inot that dark forever adieu?

If this is your final question it's no wonder you don't get it. Nowhere in your rambling statement is there a question or even a question mark. But as you are very tritely "bidding us adieu forever" I've just got to say THANK YOU, and good riddance you will not be missed.

You are getting the wrong answers mostly because you should post them under religion and spirituality.
as for their being little or no hope for humanity. that lies within us still. That face that looks at you in every reflective surface shows you a facet of God.
so don't give up so easiley nobody said to would be easy. the answers are both easy and complex.
most of the negitive answers come from people who don't really know what they really believe in or are just looking for the points.

I wouldn't say that there is no hope for humanity, there is still a little glimmer of hope there. But it is going to take a lot of work by everyone to get us there. So what has your giving up done for us all? Hopefully you will pass the torch instead of extinguishing it.

So..... what's your question? I never said that I don't believe in X because the Bible doesn't mention it. What's exactly IS "X"? I'm afraid that I cannot provide examples for something that I don't understand.
Good Night and You are welcome.

I don't have an answer for you, but I understand your pain.

The internet in and of itself (not just yahoo answers) can make one lose hope in humanity. >_>;;
